what is
floriographie*?
Coined in 1819 by Charlotte de la Tour in Le langage des fleurs or The Language of Flowers, floriography (in french, floriographie) involves arranging flowers according to clandestine codes arising from literature, mythology, religion, and the shapes of blooms.
floriographie.studio takes inspiration from the Victorian art of floriography and adds a contemporary twist.
* From the Latin florem (nominative flos), and f Italian fiore and Spanish flor), the word floriographie also comes from the Proto-Indo-European root *bhel, which means to thrive, bloom” + graphein "to write" (see -graphy).

creative
coaching
Pairing mindfulness-based and evidence-based techniques with inspiration from seasonal flowers, floriographie’s one-on-one “studio sessions” are designed for individuals and groups seeking guidance through transitions.
Special methods based on the newest findings in integrative neuroscience help you connect with the large-scale brain networks that allow you to look at the challenges in your progress from a new perspective and in a way that is sensitive to trauma.

floriographie.studio is a member of Slow Flower Movement, a philosophy advocating for the local, seasonal, and sustainable sourcing of cut flowers. It mirrors the Slow Food Movement by encouraging conscious consumption and supporting domestic flower farmers.
While floriographie.studio focuses on the arrangement of local, seasonal, and sustainable flowers, our local flower garden is a steadfast source of our inspiration.
